The Matchday 6 fixture of the Champions League 2025/26 group stage between Borussia Dortmund (Germany) and Bodo/Glimt (Norway) will take place on 25 November at Signal Iduna Park. Borussia Dortmund – Bodo/Glimt: prediction and betting odds, statistics.
Borussia Dortmund
The hosts thrashed Villarreal 4-0 in the last round at home. It was the first clean sheet for the Germans in their last nine Champions League matches. At the same time, Dortmund have been relentless in the opposition box: only once in the group stage of the current campaign did the club score fewer than four goals in a match. With 17 goals in total, Borussia sit second only to PSG (19) for goals scored. However, Niko Kovac's side have the worst defensive record among all teams currently in the knockout places, having conceded 11. In the group, the team occupy sixth place with 10 points (3 wins, 1 draw).
- Both halves produced at least one goal in 8 of Dortmund's last 9 Champions League matches.
- The club are unbeaten at home in this competition across six games (4 wins, 2 draws).
- Dortmund have scored at least twice in 5 of their last 7 home Champions League matches.
Projected Borussia Dortmund lineup (3-4-3)
Gregor Kobel – Aaron Anselmino, Waldemar Anton, Nico Schlotterbeck – Marcel Sabitzer, Pascal Gross, Daniel Svensson, Fernando Couto – Karim Adeyemi, Julian Brandt, Seru Girassi.
Bodo/Glimt
The Norwegians lost 2-3 at home to Juventus in the last round. That extended their winless run in the Champions League to six matches (2 draws, 4 defeats). However, the Scandinavians failed to score in just one match during that run. Kjetil Knutsen's side have conceded at least twice in 5 of their 7 games in the current competition. In the group standings the club sit 32nd overall, four points off the knockout zone.
- At least three goals were scored in 6 of Bodo/Glimt's previous 7 Champions League matches.
- The team have failed to win away in this competition in 9 of their last 11 matches (2 draws, 7 defeats).
- Bodo/Glimt scored exactly 1 or 2 goals in 6 of their last 8 away Champions League fixtures.
Projected Bodo/Glimt lineup (4-3-3)
Nikita Haikin – Fredrik Shovold, Odin Bjertuft, Haitam Alisami, Fredrik Bjorkan – Patrick Berg, Sondre Fet, Hakon Evjen – Andreas Helmersen, Jens Hauge, Kasper Heg.
The squad are missing forwards Daniel Bassi and Ola Brynhildsen, and defender Brede-Mathias Moe is sidelined. Defender Jostein Gundersen is suspended.

Match prediction: Borussia Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt
Dortmund continue to produce sensational attacking displays. In this Champions League campaign the side have registered their fourth match with four goals, and only the current holders are scoring more freely. That said, it is not certain Dortmund would have kept a clean sheet against Villarreal without the Spaniards being reduced to ten men early in the second half. Defensive issues under Niko Kovac have not gone away, so the hosts could still concede to an opponent who, while languishing near the bottom of the group, have been consistent in attack.
Nevertheless, this is unlikely to prevent the home side from taking three points. Dortmund have won both of their home matches in the 2025/26 Champions League, while the Norwegians arrive on the back of three successive defeats. Moreover, in their last six Champions League games the Scandinavians have conceded fewer than two goals only once (against Monaco) — one of the least prolific teams among those occupying the knockout places.
Considering these factors, my prediction: Borussia Dortmund to win and Over 2.5 goals
