27 Express Strategy: Rules and Examples

The «27 Express Strategy» was designed to bet on the exact final score in a soccer game. Since it is very difficult to guess the exact score, sportsbooks put high odds on this type of bet.

What is an Parlay (Express) Bet?

An express bet, also known as a parlay bet in America, is a single bet on a number of outcomes that are completely independent of each other. That is, several single bets are combined into one. This is done to increase the odds of the entire express bet.

The odds on an express bet are equal to the odds of all events included in the express multiplied together. An express bet is only considered to be a winner if all events included are predicted correctly;

If even just one of the outcomes loses, then the entire express bet will be lost.

Express Bets on Horse Racing

The types of bets that can be made on horse racing often differ from bets on traditional sports. They range from easy to understand wagers to complicated bets for experienced players. Horse racing express bets lean more towards the advanced end.

Taking into account the definition of express bets where multiple selections depend on the others to win, there are quite a few horse racing express bets that can be made.

For horse racing express bets, there are some that stand out as more common choices:

  • Daily Double - This is an express bet with two selections. To win, you must correctly choose the winners in two consecutive horse races.
  • Exactas - This bet can be won by correctly predicting the first and second-place finisher in a race.
  • Trifecta - The same as the exacta, but here the third-place finisher is included as well.
  • Superfecta - Considered to be the hardest express bet in horse racing, the superfecta will test even the most experienced bettors. The top four finishers of the race, in the correct order, must be correctly chosen.

Our first horse racing express bet, the 'Daily Double', is a flexible wager in that you can add more than just two selections. Pick 3, pick 4, pick 5, etc. will all correspond with the number of consecutive winners you will need to get right.

There are certainly more horse racing express bets such as the quinella, and every online sportsbook with horse racing bets will offer something different. These bets certainly take luck, but a lot of skill and understanding of each race is also necessary.

Strategies to Make Better Express Bets

Since the success of the entire express bet depends on each of the bet selections included winning, it's no surprise that these types of wagers can be difficult to win.

For this reason, players often employ different strategies to make better express bets, with higher chances of winning. There is a large list of tips and strategies that can help players in this exact area. In addition, betting strategies that help single bets will work here as well.

In this article, however, we will be going over a specific strategy designed to help make your express bets better using the exact scores of games.

How to Use the 27 Express Strategy

Let's start things off by choosing three games, each of which has a clear favorite. Then you need to analyze the previous games of the teams involved, because we will need to exclude teams which tend to score a lot of goals.

The two main components for this strategy are:

  1. High probability of the favorite winning
  2. Winning the bet on total under bet (a low number of total goals).

Then we will collect in different express bets all the possible options for the exact score of each match, in which a small number of goals will be scored and the favorite will win. The most popular scores in these games are 1-0, 2-0, 2-1.

It is on these outcomes that we will be creating our 27 variants of the express bet.

In total, there will be 27 express bets with different variations and combinations of accurate score in games. If each of the three favorites wins with any of the three score options, one of these express will win, and the winnings will increase the initial capital several times (more often 10 or more times). The average odds per accurate score is 7.00 (+600).

Let's make it a little simpler and consider an example of the 27 Express strategy.

It should be taken into account that in reality, most likely, the odds for each accurate score will be different (and therefore, the final odds of each express will be different), we will show the same odds of 7.00 (+600) on each express bet, for convenient calculations in our example.

So, what we do to start is select three soccer games and write in the table all of the possible final scores in each of them. Including that a low number of goals will be scored for each:

  1. Manchester United vs Burnley
  2. Atletico Madrid vs Villarreal
  3. Juventus vs Sampdoria

As a result, we have collected 27 different variations of the parlay or express. On each of the express bets we staked ten dollars. Therefore, our total spent was $270.

Meanwhile, Manchester United defeated Burnley 2-0, Atletico Madrid beat Villarreal 2-1 and Inter beat Sampdoria 1-0. This option is among the 27 express bets made (it is highlighted in the table in green). Accordingly, it won, and all the other express trains lost.

The only winning express bet brings us a payout of around $3430. Quite a nice payout, but now we want to know how much of it is profit. We subtract the amount of the funds delivered from the total amount of the payment:

(3430 - 270 = ($3160)

As with any other strategy the "27 Express" has its pros and cons. Of course, there is no guarantee that the chosen favorites will really win (sometimes they lose), and the number of goals scored in the game exceeds a certain amount.

It is also worth bearing in mind that not all sportsbooks necessarily approve of having this many parlays in your betting history.

Many players claim that it is possible to successfully play this strategy on bets only once in every 10 cases, so it should not be necessary to say that the 27 express is not a reliable steady form of profit.

In the end, we recommend to first try this theory on paper and then move on to real money.
