The Betly sportsbook is the second attempt at online sports betting from Delaware North, who owns both the Mardi Gras Casino and the Wheeling Island Hotel, Casino and Racetrack. Betly acts as the online and mobile app sportsbook for both of the West Virginia casinos. The sports betting product is an inhouse sportsbook, which we have seen pop up around the country. In short, these sites provide a great opportunity for players to bet locally while also giving physical locations a larger reach in the state, though they often have difficulties competing with the bigger sportsbooks. This is definitely the case again for Betly, as the sportsbook has a limited selection of sports and betting lines available. There are certainly some outstanding positives for the sportsbook however, as both live betting and promotions are available, which cannot be said for all inhouse sports betting sites. Betly also has a mobile app which can be downloaded and used to make bets from anywhere in the state.
